Sounds like an episode of SATC, but alas it is not. It's my crazy attempt of just getting out there, meeting great men and enjoying great food, drinks, convo and the occassional sex :).
Have you seen the caliber of men that's out there for professional women? At least for a professional sista?! Ha, I bet you have not. I know not everyone has a University education. Not everyone has a MBA, Doctorate, Masters, etc. BUT, at some point along the way, I would like to get just what it is I WANT! And damn it, that time is NOW!
So, the next questiom is, "WHAT THE HELL DO I WANT?"
I want a man with whom pretending is not necessary! A man who is educated, and no matter how educated he is, he still maintains his humaness by being charasmatic, confident, humourous, sexual,as well as loving, accepting and many other things.
Now, what's this attitude that SOME men have with a woman who has her own? I tell you, I just don't know, matter-of-fact, I'll take a little guess. As much as they love an "independent woman" he's still a man and longs to have a woman who is somewhat dependent on him in someway. Well, I'm no good at pretending, and if I do it to much you can pretty much smell the shit!
So in order to filter out the b.s'ers I've signed up with several speed dating sites, not saying b.s'ers are not met via speed, because these are some "special" b.s'ers. Some of them vibe so much on material shit that it's truly nauseating. Well, if you are planning on Speeddating, then I say DO IT! Be openminded, but not so much that your brain falls out and remember to have fun.
