3 Days in and already,

FOOLISHNESS!
I woke up today, feeling super fine and wonderful, then I looked at my phone and WHOA, the "ex" sent me some foolish texts and one ridiculous voicemail, of course, were I the same person from 2009, lol, I would have already responded, but, since I am not that woman, lol, I will IGNORE!

LOL, have you ever heard some utter madness?  Of course you have.  I have already forgiven, I'm not ready for full on dementia!

It's Complicated

Those 2 words say a lot don't they?
Facebook has it an an option to describe your relationship etc. Many have gotten into trouble when they've selected that option, lol

However, while I'm sure everyone has had some sort of complication in their relationship, I try to not have to use those words relationship wise.  Not that i've been complicated free, lol, of course not, I prefer not to have them however, we don't live in a perfect world now don't we :)?

Last night I watched the movie It's Complicated and my goodness it was hilarious! What these classic actors did in this movie had the theater literally rolling on the floor.  I fully recommend it to everyone.  There was not a foul word throughout the entire movie and that was a great thing.  You know at times you go to a movie and you cringe because every other word is profanity, well, no such thing here.  It was amazing.  Alec Baldwin, is super!  His line after the first time they had sex since their divorce that made me bawl out in a fury of laughter as well as the entire theater was, "I like that you've stopped waxing, you've gone NATIVE!" OMG, people were dying with laughter.

The Boss and I

I've been getting to know my "boss" lol, now for a while now and hmmm, I do believe I'll stick around a little while longer to see just where it all goes.  Supposedly for the New Year, he's having this get together at his house and of course he's not invited, but rather TOLD me, that I MUST be there in no uncertain terms but I be a no-show and whatever.

I can officially say that he is no longer my boss since I've completed my contract for his company, and onto the next client, hmmm, I wonder if I'll meet another boss who wants to be my man lol.

Does anyone know if this is illegal?  But seriously, I'm going to give this a chance, "fingers crossed."

When parents remarry

I have never seen my parents ever getting back together, and nothing was more evident that it will never happen more so then when I watched my mom waltz down the isle to marry her beau of the past 2 years.  She looked like a school girl, all happy, excited and full of not a care in the world.

I remember when I was dating my now ex, and we were in our third year of "where the hell is this going" relationship and she sat me down and said, "You know T, if you're in a meaningful relationship and the man never brings up a future, marriage, kids, etc, within 6months or even a year, you better start making other arrangements to meet and greet other men," lol.  I didn't listen, I held out because, well, I'm one of those hopeful Helens, however, when she was dating this man and it came up on the 7month mark, I felt it was my duty to sit down with her and give her the same talk, lol.  To which she promptly stopped me and said, "I'm the mother, you do as I SAY!"  Well, I've never witnessed such bull in my life, however, lol, she' mom.

My new daddy, lol flew 6 of us to the island of St. Bart's and the other fam members whoever wanted to attend had to pay their own way, lol, which I loved.  Got rid of the riff raft one time, lol and the cheapos and the ones for whom everything is a "OH MY GOODNESS would you look at how much that costs."  Ugghhh.

What can one say about this place?  Other than it's magical, regal, quiet, beautiful, with overly beautiful people prancing on and off the island.  If you ever get the opportunity, I strongly suggest you take it and enjoy this beautiful place.  Watch out for the low flying prop planes though......

I would have liked to post more pics, however, once my stupid drunk ass uncle started singing and dancing and picked me up and tossed me into the pool with my phone and camera in hand, needless to say, I have NO FRIGGING PICS to show!!!

Shopping homicide, murder

What does the holidays do to some individuals? I do not know nor do I want to know. Seemingly innocent people turn into wreckless lunatics when shopping. Listen, if you're going to be a total T-Rex while shopping KEEP YOUR ASS HOME and shop online!!!

Bitch that's my toy

That was what was said in Toy-R-us yesterday, while I made my way to get some toys for godkids etc, out of no where this sweeping big, fat, pale skinned dark cloud ascended upon me and yanked the very toy out of my hand.  I seriously thought I was in a movie and out of no where someone would yell, "CUT, print, that's a wrap!"  But, of course not, it was real life.  And she had the nerve to walk off.  I am still in shock as to what has happened, so, I approached her as she's at the cash with her herd of brattlings, and I said, "excuse me mame, but I do believe you took that toy out of my leather clad hands." She said, "no I didn't." I laugh and I yanked it right back and she did and so we did back and forth until the manager came and I said, PLAY your damn security tape and see.  And long story short, I got the toy for my goddaughter!

Dumb ass bitch!  I cannot tolerate what this season does to some, lol, yes, me included.

Are you sure you have the wrong room?

This was the question that was asked to a friends' friend of mine last night.  My girl met up with the stewardess friend last night at their hotel, anyhoo, everyone gets off on their assigned floors and my gfs' friend is attempting to open her room the first try doesn't work, so she readjusts herself and tries again, much to her surprise, there is a man sitting at his laptop, so the girl says, "ooh my, I'm sorry, I seem to have the wrong room."  The man who was looking at his laptop very intently says, "are you sure about that?" LOL  So, she heads out looks at the room number, and they head back to the front desk, anyway, the attendant apologizes and upgrades her to a beautiful suite.

Now, what would you have done, if you are in your room and hear your door being fiddled with would you not get up and see just what is going on?  Well apparently not this man.  My gf and her friend came up with their own explanation, and it's 'he was probably waiting for the call girl he ordered which is why he asked that question of "are you sure about that!" LOL'

I am now dating someone.

Well, after countless thoughts and over thinking, lol, I have decided to date my boss.  Not putting any demands and making no promises, however, I will just enjoy what ever it is we have and see where it takes us.  I however am not one to date for a long period of time and then break up having nothing to show for it but memories good or bad.
If within 6 months I don't see any future, that's it, I'm back to my marathon dating.   Actually, I'm not going to totally give that up :) afterall I'll need something to blog, lol

4 questions women regularly ask me.

This is the just one of the many questions that was asked of me today by a few women who took the time to email me regarding my blog and my marathon dating style.  So, here goes....

1. First question: "Where do you meet the men you date and what type of man do you date?"
   Answer:  Firstly, I meet men any and everywhere I go.  I also speed date, I tend to read different news papers and check out what's happening in various neighborhoods.  Just because I'm a woman of color does not mean I can only attend soca/dancehall parties, hip hop/r'n'b type parties.  I like doing various things which take me out of my comfort zone, so I'm usually opened to doing a lot of things.  Here are a few sites for speed dating in Toronto, http://www.singleinthecity.ca/ http://www.25dates.com/ http://www.fastlife.ca
   The type of men I date are professionals, business owners, etc.  I am not into dating badboys, unemployed men etc.  I work hard for what I have so it's important for me to meet someone on my level, true I'm not going to marry the individual, but, you never know.
2. Second question:  "Why do you date as you do?"
   Answer:  I date as I do because after dating someone for almost 6 years and it ended with nothing to show for it and after being alone for 2 years, I decided to just get myself back out there into the social swim of things, however, it was going to be my way or no way at all.  I enjoy dating different men and getting to know people.  It's not always as sexual as most people may think.  There are some genuinely great men out there, one may take only the time to look.
3. Third question:  "Are you sexual on the first date?"
   If I am going on a one-night stand date, well yes, however, I have stopped doing that.  I have a 5 date minimum before I sleep with someone, however, there are those times when I have met someone and the attraction has been impossible to not get some on the first date :)
4. Fourth question:  "Do you remain friends with these men and would you date them again?"
   Some men are still in my phone book and we call and go out frequently.  Naturally, there are those douchebags who are just not worth it after date one.
